The essential support of local community members and stakeholders are needed to divert behaviors which lead to crime, mental health issue and bias. Strong community-based partnerships with are the model; to best serve various communities. These programs are designed to reduce the risk of involvement in the justice system through self-respect, goal setting, and social responsibility. These are fundamentals to teach the avoidance of violence and overt behaviors while encouraging clients to pursue education, work, and other positive enterprises. Other resources are inclusive of social services for domestic violence, food pantries, girl and boy scout programs, family outreach centers and creating pilot programs for identified community problems through a joint task force of community and various stakeholders.
